“Mama Plant a Tree,” has become an official partner of the UN’s

“Mama Plant a Tree,” an organization based in Ukraine, has become an official partner of the UN’s Trillion Tree Campaign in 2020 (implemented by the “Plant-for-the-Planet” organization). 

Together, these sustainability champions are working towards creating a brighter, greener future for all of us.

The UN Trillion Trees Campaign is a global initiative that was launched by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to promote the planting of one trillion trees worldwide.

Planting one trillion trees could sequester significant amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and slow down the rate of global warming. The campaign also aims to restore degraded forests and promote sustainable forest management practices.

The Trillion Trees Campaign provides a platform for global coordination, sharing of best practices, and promoting innovative solutions to tackle deforestation and restore forests. 

The partnership between “Mama Plant a Tree” and the Trillion Trees Campaign is expected to inspire more people and organizations to get involved in planting trees and promoting sustainable practices.
